Project Backpack - 2005

In September 2005, together with the Narragansett Cheerleaders, we donated over 40  backpacks to be distributed to children in Louisiana and Mississippi after hurricane  Katrina.  The massachusetts coordinator received over 7900 backpacks! 

 

American Cancer Society Relay for Life   - June 2005

The 2005 Relay was a great success.  Oakmont Cheerleaders raised $2,361.00 and the entire Relay for Life of Greater Gardner raised over $650,000.00.  Fundraising will continue through the fall.

The Oakmont Cheerleaders have participated in the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life held at Mount Wachusett Community College for the past two years and will participate again this June.  Each cheerleader is a member of the Oakmont Cheering relay team and is responsible for getting $100 in sponsorship.
